Jessica Fox is a British actress who was born on the 19th of May 1983. She has played

the popular character Nancy Hayton in C4 soap Hollyoaks since July 2005. Jessica Fox is

currently living in Reading in Berkshire but trained to be an actor at the Redroofs

Theatre School in Maidenhead.

Jessica’s acting career got off to something of a flying start when she was picked to

star in a Persil commerical at the age of only 8 years old. This certainly kicked things

off as very soon after Fox found herself acting featured roles in some of the most

famous and prestigious West End shows. Starring in Oliver, Les Miserables and the Sound

of Music. Soon after Fox lent her voice to the hit Muppet Christmas Carol playing the

part of the Ghost of Christmas Past.

Fox started of her soap career by playing the character Belle Wise on Crossroads in

2001. She also played Rachel Monroe for 3 episodes over 2000 – 2002 period in ITV’s hit

police drama The Bill. Fox’s character Nancy Hayton has also been featured in the more

serious “Hollyoaks Later” evening spin off of the show.

Jessica Fox also saw her share of Soap award nominations with the “Best Newcomer 2006”,

“Best Actress 2007” and “Best Actress 2008” award short lists to her name.
