Jodi Albert is most likely best known for her portrayal of the downtrodden character

Debbie Dean from hit British TV soap Hollyoaks. Jodi appeared regularly as Debbie

between ’02 and ’04 before only really returning for more sporadic guest appearances in

’05 and ’06.

Albert was born on the 22nd of July 1983 and spent her childhood growing up in the East

end of London. At the age of 10 Jodi’s parents recognised her talent and took the plunge

by sending her to stage school and later singing classes at the age of 14 and it

certainly didn’t take long to pay off. Jodi’s first taste of fame was in the all girl

band “Girl Thing” who bagged a UK top 10 hit with the record “Last One Standing”

unfortunately the band did split up however this allowed Jodi to concentrate on her

acting career and ultimately was what brought her onto our screens as Debbie Dean in

2002!

Collecting her share of awards Jodi Albert won the “Sexiest Female” trophy in the

glamorous 2005 British Soap Awards. Making the most of this Jodi has posed for several

leading men’s magazines including FHM and Maxim.

After becoming engaged on Christmas Day 2007 Albert finally married long term boyfriend

Kian Egan from boy band Westlife in 2009 on the beautiful island of Barbados.
